Jeff Alworth is a Portland, Oregon-based author and journalist specializing in beer and cider, with occasional forays into political writing. He's the author of The Beer Bible, The Widmer Way, The Secrets of Master Brewers, and Cider Made Simple. A two-time winner of the North American Guild of Beer Writers' Best Book award, Alworth's The Beer Bible also received the International Association of Culinary Professionals' (IACP) award for best wine, spirits, or beer book in 2016. He also co-hosts the Beervana Podcast and teaches university courses on beer and brewing.
