Lisa Doan, a master's graduate in writing for children and young adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts, is an IPPY gold winner for juvenile fiction and a board member of the Brandywine Valley Writers Group. Her diverse background includes roles as a Master Scuba Diving Instructor, Wall Street headhunter, restaurant owner/chef, reality T.V. set medic, and deputy prothonotary. Doan is the author of The Middle Grade Berenson Schemes Series, comprising "Jack the Castaway," "Jack in the Wild," and "Jack at the Helm," as well as "The Alarming Career of Sir Richard Blackstone" and "Chadwick's Epic Revenge."
