Chang-rae Lee is an acclaimed author of six novels, including the Pulitzer Prize finalist "The Surrendered" and the NBCC finalist and Heartland Fiction Prize winner "On Such a Full Sea," culminating in his recent novel, "My Year Abroad" (2021). His distinguished body of work has garnered numerous accolades, including the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award and the American Book Award. In recognition of his lifetime achievements, Lee received an Award of Merit from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and was elected a Member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences in 2021
